Working at Warren Truck Assembly Plant provided limited options for lunch. The limited options often forced my coworkers and me to chose the same thing which was normally the local Coney Island. There were a few restaurants which were willing to deliver but often they would arrive late forcing my coworkers and me; little to no time to enjoy our lunch. After many times of missing lunch due to late deliveries or restaurants not arriving at all; I decided that we deserved better. After some brainstorming I decided to provide an option of good, healthy, hot meals that would be delivered on time for my Local Union Brothers and Sisters. My promise was guided by what I expected when I ordered. I wanted good meals, that were delivered on time so that I could enjoy them during my lunch break. By keeping my promise of good cooking I was able to go from selling lunches to catering many successful events.
